Nobody would say that his/her work is bad… I believe my pictures were good but not the best. And as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Where am I leading? You may ask. I’m talking about my final assignment in our Basic Photography class. Out of 32 participants, [...]

After shooting for glassware, what’s left is a human portrait using natural lighting. My idea was to shoot for street beggars, I went all the way from Cavite to Quiapo to find the best subject. I saw a kid begging for money, I asked him for a shot and he replied, “bigyan mo [...]

For days I’ve been hounded by our “final assignment” in our Basic Photography Workshop. During our first meeting, we were told that we need to produce 2 8×10 (8R) pictures, the first subject is all about metals & the other one would be a portrait of a human being.
Two weeks ago I started shooting [...]

I woke up one day and I heard one TV newscastter reporting about the violent dispersal of the striker’s in Hacienda Luisita. OK what’s new? Well only six strikers were killed, hmmm… this number will just add to the statistics, another batch of workers dying in quest for survival.
Replay na lang yan. [...]

I woke up late today, I had a night out last night. It was some sort of self-refreshment. I was expecting to shoot the sunset yesterday pero madamot ang araw, ayaw n’yang magpakita sa akin habang papalubog siya. Also, I had to refresh because of a bad day yesterday, it was so [...]

We were lucky to have an extra resource person, Mr. Tilak Hettique, a Sri Lankan photographer based in the Philippines. It was a good presentation, nakaka-encourage ung mga pictures nya. Then we were divided into 4 groups and given a [...]

Let Tarongoy’s Employer Negotiate about the Ransom — DFA
I guess the government is standing firm on it’s “no-ransom policy.”

As a requirement for returning OFW, kailangan kong magpunta sa POEA to process my OEC (Overseas Employment Certificate) and Medicare.

It’s been a long time since maramdaman ko ang feeling ng maging isang ama. I’ve been away for such a long time that I almost forgot how it feels like being a father.
Kanina dumalaw sa bahay ang anak ko. I was out of the house when they came. Honestly, di ko alam [...]

Today I started attending the FPPF (Federation of Filipino Photographer’s Foundation) Basic Photography Seminar held at Fort Santiago in Intramuros Manila.
It was long and tiring day for me. Whew! Nakakapanibago… I appreciate the “tyaga” ng resource person, imagine giving [...]
