A Serial Killer in the Making

I was watching the nightly news when I saw the news about a suspected “serial cat killer” living (and studying) within the boundaries of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, this prompted me to googling about any information about this guy.

Unfortunately, the multiply entry where Joseph Carlo Candare blogged about his brutal killing of a cat was deleted, but thanks to this entry from Bury Me in this Dress blog, I was able to view the entry via this screenshot.

As you may all know by now, I love cats, in fact I have one now, his name is Esson (used to be Miming), what if my dear Esson would come across with some psycho like this Candare?

This kind of people really puzzles me, why do they kill (whether human or animals)? My friend (and former co-worker) Willie the Kid shed some light to this puzzle, “alam mo kung bakit walang serial killer na Pinoy? Kasi matatalino ang mga serial killers.” [ever wondered why there's no Filipino serial killer? Because they are (the serial killers) intelligent.] Maybe my friend is correct, I’ve read a lot of novels about these kind of people, and one things for sure, they are not the normal Joe’s that you see everyday, they normally have high IQ’s, and the missing piece of the puzzle, they are disturbed.

JC Candare has the recipe for being something like this, he’s from UP, and we all know what kind of students are entitled to be called “Iskolar ng Bayan.” The question now is, was he a disturbed kid? What made him say that it “felt good!” when he slammed the poor cat into the floor and like a “Pro Wrestler” he jumped and landed his foot on the cat’s torso?

I don’t know with you, but this kid is sick and the University must check this kid.

the blog entry was not made by him daw. it was done by a “cyber criminal” who hacked his blog and posted things which could make the user/owner sued. he was just a victim of a cyber criminal.
