Clerics for President
Last week was a week of announcement and pronouncements, Jesus is Lord Church founder and leader Eddie Villanueva announced that he will (again) seek the highest position of the land. Earlier, during his birthday, El Shaddai leader Brother Mike Velarde ‘joke’ about his intention of running for president.
But these 2 are not the only clerics (OK Mike Velarde is not officially a cleric) that will seek the presidency of the land, former priest and current Pampanga Governor Ed Panlilio told that he will also run as president. What’s with the presidency that attract even the the so-called ‘people of god’ to aspire it?
Was it power? Maybe it’s their intention of healing the land. Whatever the intentions are, I personally don’t see anything wrong about it, I just hope that they won’t be eaten by the system.
