I was doing my daily round of biking inside our village when I saw this sign.
It really caught my attention, so I stopped, grabbed my mobile phone & take a shot.
It’s good to see new & innovative way of advertising service or products, consumer will not just knock on your door & ask you to take his picture unless they know they exist. This is why web advertising became widely popular now, I get most of my inquiries from the wedding websites where I posted my ads years ago.
The downside of this though is that people expect you to lower your package price, or maybe this is not because of the advertisement. Maybe, DSLR prices became so affordable & any Joe’s who knew how to press the shutter button can become a “professional” photographer. Pathetic isn’t it?
Anyways, I must think of better way to advertise my works.
I know what you mean. I’ve been to weddings where the “official” photographer is often a friend who will do the assignment for a “thank you.”
With the popularity of the more forgiving digital cameras, everybody thinks he/she is a pro LOL.
