Invitation for a gastronomic experience
A fellow SEO.ph member invited me to join his company’s free food tasting activity, which will be held on September 5, 2009 at the Republic of Cavite in Trece Martirez City.
Bloggers and Online Groups are invited to join the said activity, here’s the list of the popular and delectable dishes/foods that we will be offering for free.
- Lihim ni Lola – a purple rice cake with salted egg and cassava filling. It’s called lihim because it is supposed to be a little secret and the only way to discover it is to go grab a piece and unravel the secret for yourself!
- Lihim ni Emilio – a yummy dessert consisting of suman sa ibos, chico and mango topped with ice cream and pinipig.
- Paborito ni Aguinaldo – fried camote strips rolled in ground peanuts and jackfruit strips and finally wrapped in lumpia wrappers.
- Onde Onde – colorful rice flour with syrup inside
- Puto Pao – puto topped with salted egg and cheese
Also included in the menu will be:
- Flavorful Chicken Barbecue
- Crispy Binagoongang Baboy
- Pork Dinuguan
- Fried Lumpiang Bangus
- Halayang Kalabasa
- Café Amadeo
