Lito Sy Wedding Photography Workshop @ Dusit Thani Hotel

Premier Wedding Photographer, Mr. Lito Sy kicked off his 2008 Wedding Photography Workshop today (05 August 2008) at the Dusit Thani Hotel, Makati City. I was one of the fortunate attendees, Lito Sy tackles the common problem which I would say basic to most of us yet so hard to figure out.

Afternoon session was a photoshoot with our model, 2005 Bb. Pilipinas-World, Carlene Aguilar. The shoot was done while inside & outside the hotel to mimic what is happening in real weddings. Then followed by a short Photoshop tutorial. Here are some of my shots applying some of his post-process technique.

My mouth watered after seeing his gear, even my newest dream camera were present (& I was able to test some shot), believe me, D700 rocks! It was clean at ISO5000!

Anyways, certificate were distributed to each participants & Nikon bags & t-shirt were raffled off to the participants. I got one of that shirt!

    Nice photography session. Really nice to go to workshops where it’s hands-on.

    btw, nakapagsimula na ako last month ng commercial & wedding photography, kagandahan dahil puro actual tsaka daming models hehe

  6. Naks master! Lufet mo! Kakainggit! Nameet mo na pala si Idol… Hindi na kita ma reach! Pre, pag nakauwi ako ulit sa iyo na ako papaturo about wedding photography… Pasa mo sa akin ang mga techniques na natutunan mo kay idol…

  7. @watson, you need a real good camera, sayang ang mga travels mo, the way i see it, you really can take good pix.

    @niko, Dre, D700 is a full frame camera just like the D3, medyo on the budget side nga lang, D3 costs around 6K USD while the D700 is currently selling at around 3k USD. it’s more like a D300 na full frame.

    @KD, talagang wow! sarap pa ng pagkain! bulong ko sa yo work flow, hehehehe!

    @Matt, sige dre next uwi mo hopefully may sarili akong kuha para ma-expose ka sa hirap ng wedding photography. Hehehehe!
