OMG! I’m still a Ginebra fan!
I found myself glued to the television watching the game 5 of the Ginebra vs. Talk n’ Text quarterfinals game. I didn’t realize that I’m still a Ginebra fan.
I was not following the PBA games lately, although I make myself updated by just reading the news. I don’t know why I lost my interests on the game, most probably due to the fil-sham controversy that hounded the league for so long. I’m just glad that the PBA has overcome that trying time for the league.
I’m a self-confessed Barangay Ginebra fan way back to their Añejo days in the early 90’s, it’s a sin for me to miss watching their games. As I was watching today’s game, I can still see the loyalty that fans had given to the team, it made me think that a Ginebra fan will always be a Ginebra fan.
A lot had been change, new players, new coach but the never-say-die attitude remains. Coming from a 0-2 disadvantage, Ginebra managed to win the series against Talk n’ Text. This made me more excited! This will be the reason why I would follow the PBA games again!
