Day 42: Baking 101
This week is dedicated for baking lessons in our culinary arts class, as a start, we prepared Muffins, Yummy Carrot Cake and Chocolate Mousse. Carrot Cake and Chocolate Mousse are 2 of the 7 recipes that will be prepared during NC II (National Certificate) assessment that will be conducted by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) after graduation.

Day 41: Ravioli and Minestrone
It’s a day dedicated for Italian dish, for the third time, we prepared homemade pasta, this time we used it to prepare Ravioli in Tomato & Basil Sauce, the sauce was a simple red sauce (tomato base) with fresh Basil. The other was a popular Italian soup called Minestrone, also using pasta, it has vegetables and tomato (typical of any Italian dish).

Day 40: American Pie, Chicken and Chili
Second day to our new school venue (the school transferred to a new and bigger location), we covered what me missed during the international cuisine sessions, it was an American cuisine day for us, we prepared Chili con Carne, Maryland Fried Chicken and Pumpkin Pie.

Day 39: Bicol Express, Embutido & Cassava Pastillas
Our culinary class week starts today, yesterday was a regular non-working holiday commemorating the National Heroes Day. Today, we prepared 3 popular Filipino dishes, Bicol Express, Embutido and Cassava Pastillas.

First SEO Camp
The SEO Organization Philippines in partnership with University of the Philippines – Circle of Administrators (UP – Circa) conducted the First SEO Camp – eARNINGS: Training on Making Money Online. The training was conducted at Balay Kalinaw of the University of the Philippines – Diliman Campus last Saturday August 28, 2010.
Day 38: Humba, Estofado and Bocarillo
It’s Pinoy cooking for day 38 of my culinary arts class, the recipes were Pork Humba, Estofadong Manok and a dessert Bocarillo which resembles my favorite bukayo.
