PiPho’s 2nd Year Anniversary Celebration
June 22, 2007 marks the second year of PiPho’s existence on the net. I first joined the forum in July of 2006, I was merely a lurker, reading & learning through what the other members were posting.
PiPho met the biggest challenge when the forum was hacked in September 2006, it was out for about 3 weeks, nonetheless the forum was able to rise up & continue.
The anniversary celebration was held last June 30, 2007 at the ACCI Building in Makati City, 148 forumers & guests attended the event. The current Pinoy Photography Club (not the forum) President Raffy Yllana opened the ceremony.
One of the guest speaker was Mr. John Chua, a well respected advertising photographer.
Also available to give his word of encouragement was Manny Librodo. Aside from getting a free t-shirt & a free copy of i-mag photo magazine, a feasty dinner was served, prizes from the sponsors were also raffled out, as expected, I didn’t win any of it. The top plum was a Canon printer.
After the talk, eat & raffle, it’s sexy time! 5 models were provided to pose.
I can’t get a good shot on the other 4 models, I just took a few shots of Erika.
Of course, the celebration will not be complete without the traditional “group hug.”

I was dead tired, imagine shooting a wedding in the morning & then attending the anniversary celebration in the afternon. But it was fun, it was fun being with the people that you can share your passion with.
