Rainy Laguna Loop Photo EB
This was the first major Photo EB organized by PiPho Forum for 2008, the route will cover the provinces of Laguna & Batangas. The most number of attendees was recorded here, 53 photographers gathered to shoot & share their passion together. We opted to rent a bus instead of having around 10-15 cars racing on the highway & to prevent losing tack of someone during the trip.
But the bus option has it’s cons, it travels way slower, it had to squeeze into tight Municipal roads, we almost cut a power & water (yeps, there were water line passing on top of the raods) line during the trip. Our first destination was Majayjay & I would tell you that the roads were not bus friendly, we have to get out of the bus to lessen the load for us to be able to pass through some V-curve & U curves.

The more than 3 hours of trip, 10 minutes trek & being soaked in the rain was well worth it when you see these view:

I just stood there motionless, just admiring the beauty of God’s creation, this majestic falls has enchanted me.

Actually, this is just one of the many falls & springs that Majayjay, Laguna is proud to have, there are other falls with in the Municipality, Majayjay would like to be called as “Bayan ng mga talon at bukal” (A Town of falls & springs).

My newly acquired tripod (I posted it here) has proven its worth, on water falls shots, I have to shoot on slow shutter (1/5″ to 2″) to have the silky look of the water flow.
