The Journey Continues…

Note: For those waiting for my update regarding our trip to Bohol, I apologize, I was too busy preparing for the holidays & some more commitments. I’ll be posting my Bohol experience & photos as well probably after the holiday so do watch out for it.

Last night I had a chance to be with the seo.ph people at the Pier One at the San Miguel by the Bay of the SM Mall of Asia (MOA). Like my previous experience it was fun & much more a learning experience coming from the gurus of Search Engine Optimization in the land.

I got involved with the forum recently, it was in JUne 2008 when I finally met Kontrapelo himself Mr. Zaldy Dalisay in a EB organized by Karmi when she visited Manila.

Although I’m earning from blogging, I saw a great potential of maximizing my online earning through Search Engine Optimization, this prompted me into joining the forum.

It was during the WordPress WordCamp in Manila when I was able to meet & interact with the other members. They were very accommodating & openly shared some of the tips.

Last night, was even better, present were Gary V. (for Viray), Rostum (NetPh & wife), Zaldy Dalisay (majorkontrapelo), Neil (KapengBarako & Sister), Arnold Alvarez, Kenneth, Eric Marantan (who came from Dagupan just to attend the event), GurlAlien, maldita, Icezorg, me, Almer and Pastor Jeff (and wife).

There was an overload of information, beers & food, not to mention the fun of just being together. To me, the most important topic of all is how we assess the current & future of the S-E-O community in the Philippines, as Gary V. & Major wrote, it is (in my opinion) a time to act & set a concrete direction to the organization.
