The Journey Continues…

The alleged sex video of Dr. Hayden Kho with different women (including Katrina Halili, Maricar Reyes & a Brazilian model) became the talk of the town. It’s now topping the news headlines, not even the controversy on the Senate’s investigation on the double insertion on the budget by Sen. Manny Villar comes close to it.

The scandal busted all the box office records (in Quiapo), it sells like hotcake in all the pirated video store all over the country, breaking the sales record set by the Calapan Scandal in 2004.

These new videos does not only invaded the pages of the newspaper and other media (and Quiapo box office) outfit but also the net particularly the blogs. I made a research on how many possible result these keywords would be, I used 2 keywords “hayden kho” and “katrina halili” and here’s what I found out.

First, the keyword “hayden kho”, I only checked those results that pertains to the scandal:

• hayden kho video – 156,000 possible results
• hayden kho and katrina halili – 76,800 possible results
• hayden kho scandals – 41,100 possible results
• hayden kho videos – 100,000 possible results
• hayden kho torrent – 4,020 possible results

• katrina halili and hayden kho scandal – 27,000 possible results
• katrina halili hayden kho – 97,800 possible results
• katrina halili and hayden kho – 81,100 possible results
• katrina halili and hayden kho video scandal – 27,900 possible results
• katrina and hayden scandal – 341,000 possible results

One plurker joked about this, he said this is like an SEO contest & everybody seems to be racing to be on Google’s top SERP (Search Engine Results Page).

For me it’s a serious matter, I value privacy more than anything else, I believe that anything that is being done in a private place must remain in that place, much like the dictum that was posted in our CAT Commandant’s office “what you see, what you hear, leave it here!”

Whoever planted the video (obviously ’twas Hayden) is a pervert and whoever uploaded the video on youtube is more than a pervert.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not judging Hayden, in fact, the reason why I posted this entry just now is that I made every effort to weigh in every possible scenarios. I read it somewhere that ‘maybe’ the people who uploaded these videos have personal grudges against Hayden Kho and Vicky Belo, do you think Hayden (or Vicky) would give these people the videos?

The distinguished Senator from Cavite took the floor of the Senate to show his disgust on this allege video scandal, the Senate in response would conduct an investigation (in aid of legislation) on the matter. Representatives of Women’s Party on the house together with other Congresswomen condemned the proliferation of this kind of materials.

Yesterday, Katrina Halili asked the help of the National Bureau of Investigation to bring these wrong doers to justice, other agencies including the Optical Media Board and the Professional Regulations Commission also came into the picture.

I just hope that these efforts would bring results and not just ningas cogon.
