I always ask myself whenever this triple number date thing comes, what’s with these dates (numbers) that makes people act crazy? Last year every couple would want to get married on August 8, 2008, most of the believes that the number 8-8-8 would bring good luck to their union, in fact I was able to shoot an 888 wedding last year.
This year, it’s September 9, 2009 turn to rock the nerves of the people who believes highly on numerology, in China thousands of couple got married on this date, of course Filipinos won’t be left behind, not only for wedding but also for important announcements.
Senator Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III announced in a press conference at the Club Filipino in San Juan that he’ll run for president. The day being the 40th day of his mother’s (former president Corazon Aquino) death and probably being it a triple number which is believed to be a lucky day. We all know that the Cojuanco’s were of Chinese descent.
On the same date, DILG Secretary Ronnie Puno threw his full support to fellow LAKAS-Kampi party member Defense Secretary Gilbert ‘Gibo’ Teodoro’s presidential bid1.
With his latest pronouncement, Noynoy will be challenging his cousin, Gibo Teodoro in the coming 2010 Presidential Election, both came from the Cojuanco political clan, let’s see whom the numbers will favor comes May 2010.
