Weekend at Enchanted Kingdom
After the pressure packed Christmas week, our family decided to unwind, we decided to bring the kids to the Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna yesterday. It’s less than an hour and a half drive from our place without traffic of course.
I’m not really fond of theme parks and rides, the last time (actually the first) I was at the Enchanted Kingdom was almost 11 years ago and just roam around the park.

Last night was the same, I didn’t attempt to ride any of the featured rides, not because I’m scared but since it was a peak season, waiting lines were so long and I’m not planning to ruin my night by waiting for the line to move.

What I did was to just go around the park and took some photos enjoying a new environment other than my home/office space.

We left a few minutes after the fireworks display (my bad, I didn’t bring a tripod), it was not as spectacular as I expected anyway. The kids were overwhelmed by the experience, as for me, I would not come back to EK during peak season.
On the sad note, we attended the burial of one of my uncle (mother’s cousin) in Imus earlier today, uncle Tonyo was 70 years old.
