Will it be Pacquiao vs. Foreman?
With the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather in danger of not pursuing due to endless accusations by the Mayweather camp, Top Rank Promotions is now cooking up a deal for Manny Pacquiao to fight the Israeli fighter Yuri Foreman.
Yuri Foreman is the current WBA Super Welterweight Champion (154 lbs.), the title he won against Danilo Santos of Puerto Rico when they fought in the undercard match of the Pacquiao vs. Cotto in November 14, 2009. Manny Pacquiao on the other hand is the current WBO Welterweight Champion (147 lbs.) which he won against Miguel Cotto last November 14, 2009, his 7th weight class world championship.
The 29 year old Yuri Foreman holds a clean record of 28 wins, no loss and 1 no contest with 8 wins via knock out, he is listed at 5 feet 11 inches in height. Meanwhile, Manny Pacquiao is 31 years old and holds a record of 50 wins, 3 losses and 2 draws with 38 wins coming by knock out.
The fight is rumored to happen on March 20, 2010 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
