WordPress WordCamp Manila 2009
A day before my Acer laptop died, I (together with fellow SEO.ph forum members) was able to attend the WordPress WordCamp Philippines 2009 held at the Asian Institute of Management in Makati last September 19, 2009.
To sum it up, I think WordCamp Philippines 2008 is better, there were more attendees, much more freebies and more subjects that was discussed. I still believe that last year’s formula of separate “classroom” type discussion is better than this year’s plenary lecture style.
I would blame the 500 Pesos registration fee for the low turn-out, well, a lot of people wants to get infos for free. But I would say that this year’s food is better!
Anyways, as a tradition, we didn’t end the day after the WordCamp, the boys of SEO.ph went to Pier One in San Miguel by the Bay at the SM Mall of Asia to continue the discussion.
And as usual, the aftermath is better than the WordCamp itself.
