Worldwide Photo Walk – Cavite City
It’s the second year of Scott Shelby’s Annual Worldwide Photowalk and it’s gonna be my first time to participate in the said event. I heard about this event in a forum that I was actively participating, I check out the areas where ‘photowalks’ will be held and it was all filled up, only 50 participants were allowed per area.
I was saddened by the fact that I can’t join this momentous event, areas like Old Manila, Quiapo, Manila Baywalk & Intramuros Photowalks were my initial choices but unfortunately theses areas were all filled up.
It was about 3 days ago when I learned that the Cavite City was opened and only 8 slots were available, I immediately signed-up & sent a message to the Walk Leader which I believe I’ve met before.
He replied saying that I’ve been included in the list & asked me if I’m was the one who won the the AFS-Nikkor 18-200mm lens during the Nikon Club Philippines launch last year. Affirmative, it was me.
The Photowalk will happen on July 18, 2009, it is when over 17,000 people in more than 1,000 areas will walk, share & compete for the prizes which includes a Nikon D700 camera. Whew! Being one of the participant is a prize by itself.
